Crowns

A crown is a tooth-shaped “cap” that is placed over a tooth — to cover it and restore its shape and size, strength, and to improve its appearance. When cemented into place, the crown will fully encase the entire visible portion of a tooth at and above the gum line.

Implants

A small titanium screw is placed into the jawbone to replace a missing natural tooth root. Once it has firmly integrated with the jawbone a replacement tooth can be attached to fill the gap created by the missing tooth.

Bridges

bridges are used to fill in gaps where one or more teeth are missing. A bridge is a fixed dental restoration joining an artificial tooth or teeth to adjacent teeth or dental implants.

Dentures

these are complete or partial sets of teeth fixed to a plate that fits over the gums and can be removed for cleaning & at night.  They are a more affordable alternative to implants but are also often used where the damage to teeth, gums and jaws is severe enough that it is not possible to insert implants or crowns.

Smile Makeover

The process of improving the appearance of the smile through one or more cosmetic dentistry procedures, such as with implants, tooth whitening, composite bonding and dental veneers.

Veneers & Lumineers

These are tiny, porcelain shells that are bonded to the surface of the teeth to provide a more attractive appearance.

Tooth whitening

All kinds of things can cause the enamel on your teeth to become discoloured, from drinking tea, coffee or red wine, to eating some kinds of foods. Improving your brushing and flossing technique can help but will be unlikely to remove long-term stains. Tooth whitening is a method of safely bleaching the teeth to lighten the shade and although you can buy over the counter whitening kits but as there are risks to using these, not to mention it is illegal for anyone other than a dentist, dental therapist/hygienist to carry out tooth whitening and sometimes the damage is irreversible, it is better to have it done by your dentist. There are many ways we can whiten your teeth. Come and ask us on the latest ways we can do it.
