FdSc, BSc (Hons), PTLLS, RDH, RDT Pat Popat is a registered Dental Hygienist & Therapist in a Specialist referral and general dental practices across Essex, Hertfordshire & Suffolk with a wealth of experience within the dental field. He started his career as a Dental Nurse and was invited back to become a tutor for dental nurses. Pat was then offered the position of Course Director & Lead Tutor for Dental Nurse Training at The Ipswich Hospital and has since become an Examiner for the National Examining Board for Dental Nurses. Having worked along side eminent clinicians Pat has served as a Practice Manager at a specialist referral dental practice and continues to work with various dental practices across the UK to help them grow and develop. Dentist Julia qualified as a dentist from King’s College London in 2022. She provides general dentistry, with particular interests in aesthetic and restorative dentistry. She believes that everyone deserves access to good-quality dental care and is passionate about making every dental visit a positive and reassuring experience. Julia understands that visiting the dentist can be daunting for some people. Her aim is to create a friendly, non-judgemental environment where patients feel listened to, understood and at ease. She believes no one should have to feel scared of visiting the dentist or leave an appointment feeling more anxious than when they arrived. She strives to provide compassionate care and help every patient feel comfortable and confident in their dental journey. Outside of work, Julia is a keen foodie who loves baking, exploring new cuisines and discovering great coffee spots. She is always happy to try something new, whether it’s a recipe or her next favourite cup of coffee! Dip Dent Hygiene Kings College 2002 I started my career in 1988 as a dental nurse. After working with many dentists covering most specialised areas of dentistry decided to take the leap and become a dental hygienist, qualifying from Kings in 2002. Since qualifying I have undertaken further extensive training in areas such as implant maintenance to provide the best care I can to my patients. I joined Brightlingsea Dental & Facial Aesthetics Clinic in 2019 where I am building a steady list of regular patients and feel I have settled in well. I also enjoy using my skills to aid charities and have been involved with ‘Crisis at Christmas’ and ‘Bridge2Aid’ in Tanzania. In my spare time I enjoy going for long walks with my dog Bailey, cycling and love skiing in the winter months. RDH GDC no; 260481 Faye has worked in dentistry for 13 years as a dental nurse, before taking the next step in her career and studying Dental Hygiene at the University of Essex, where she graduated with an award for Outstanding Academic Achievement. GDC – 234653 Emily began her dental career in 2010, qualifying through an apprenticeship in 2012. During this time, Emily built a strong foundation in both the clinical and patient care aspects of dentistry. Since then, she has continued to expand her knowledge by completing additional qualifications in Fluoride Application, Oral Health Education, and Dental Radiography. Emily is a trainee dental nurse at the practice, currently undergoing her dental nursing apprenticeship. She is developing her skills and knowledge across all aspects of dental nursing and enjoys supporting patients and helping make their visits feel calm and comfortable. Isla is a Trainee Dental Nurse who is at the beginning of her professional career within the dental field. She is committed to developing her knowledge and practical skills while gaining valuable experience within the dental environment.

Now, as Practice Manager, Emily is passionate about ensuring every patient receives a warm welcome and enjoys a positive experience from the moment they walk through our doors. She takes great pride in supporting both our patients and our team, helping the practice run smoothly while maintaining the highest standards of care.
Outside of work, Emily loves spending quality time with her young girls. Balancing her career with family life has strengthened her caring and compassionate approach, as she strives to make every patient feel valued, supported, and confident in their dental care. Emily G – Trainee Dental Nurse
As she progresses through her apprenticeship, Emily is gaining valuable experience working alongside our dentists and the wider dental team, while building her confidence and developing her knowledge of patient care, infection prevention, and clinical procedures.
Outside of the practice, Emily enjoys spending time with her friends, going bowling and exploring new places. She loves making memories and trying new things. Isla M – Trainee Dental Nurse
Isla is enthusiastic about learning and progressing within her role, with a particular focus on developing her confidence, professionalism, and understanding of patient care.
Outside of work, Isla enjoys running and crochet, providing a balance between staying active and pursuing a creative interest. She is looking forward to continuing her development and building a successful career within dentistry.
